Outdoor training is starting thursday night at montrose this week just let people know also we need to let people who haven't been to training that there is a practice game on sunday so we need to arrange numbers. The details are going to be out tomorrow night. anyone interested?????
Hi all, just a report on sundays practice game: unfortunatly we weren't very competitive but we all had a good fun day, and i would like to thank all the guys who turned up and had a crack. It was a good experience for some of the younger less experienced players to play against a team of 1's and 2's players, hopefully they learn and take alot from it. I must add a couple of highlights of the day were Daniel Crowe turn it on with a good 40 runs and Straughnie get the best bowling of the day with 2 wickets. It was however dissapointing to see the lack of higher level players from MCC turn up and make themselves available as I think that our opposition certainly put on a good day and expected a better contest i'm sure.
lets not forget harvz excellent efforts at the top of the order and express pace with the ball.. lol and knackers one ball brief stay at the crease just after telling me that him and i have never been able 2 put on a big partnership.. haha
highlight for me was hearing straughnie call out his own name after taking a wicket with his 1st ball! and naths short arm efforts on the 5 metre boundrys

indoor training for this tuesday is starting at 6.30pm not our usual 8.30 start. Please let everyone know as we all know the season is only week away and we need to start getting serious!!!
