Hey Russ and Burls,

Is it possible to do pre-season on Thursday's a few of us are playing indoor cricket on Tuesdays at the moment and obviously a few boys have footy on Wednesday and Mondays. If its not possible we can get out of indoor but it would be good to do it on Thursdays

looks like fom june 25 thursdays 6.30 to 8 for 6 weeks for the under 21's then tuesdays for 6 weeks

any problem with that?

Sounds great.
Just a reminder that it is for training and education, not for catching up and having a laugh.
White cricket shirts or Montrose attire to be worn, or don't bother.
Shorts are preferred to tracksuit pants.
Be early not late or else we all have to stop and do the warm ups again.
Remember the more you put in at this end the more you'll achieve at the other end.
If you don't understand, ASK.

Ease up Boof! I am running this program and I am taking all the credit for the success stories. Boof is right, we do take it very seriously, but you are allowed to have a little bit of fun. See you all on the first Thursday.

Bacon here, the only night i can do is tuesday. Unless i get out of work experience.. I would still like to train (hard) but i dont no what we can do.. Maybe some one-on-one sessions?

I really wanna start training, but I still have footy training at 6pm on the thursdays.

Would it be worth attending some sessions, or just waiting until footy is over. or I could just get out of footy due to work experience.

boof, it just was'nt the same without you........but these were some of the highlights:

look out for harvs! he is a massive improvement..

crowie, what can i say.. he is faster than last year!

bacon -superstar allround

damo spun the ball a metre

timy balled 4 hatricks

lowe & dewy are showing freaky signs! (good)

i'm still struggling to hit the pitch!

pody's firery pace

beny gray & josh crowe are hiting the pitch like mitch johnson!

burls as enthusiatic as a dog at a park...

Sounds Great Mitch. Can't wait to get there next week. Unfortunately Burls will not let me have a bat or a bowl. Apparently these sessions are only for you younger blokes. You'll have to wait until August before I unleash my new bowling style. I hope you're right about Jav's, my tip is Damo will be the big improver along with J.Pod. Not so sure about Bacon though, my source's tell me that Crowie made him look second rate? Did Garfield enjoy it?

Glad to hear it Timbo, you're right all the blokes at Montrose are good value, even Mitch. My spies tell me that you batted rather well, very attacking I believe. Is that your normal approach or were you just trying to impress on your first night? I also heard Bacon batted pretty ordinary, couldn't handle the bloke who throws a mean dart. Perhaps you'll take Bacon's place in the first XI...
