I've heard on the grapevine that Knackers has left Montrose CC and is playing in the Box Hill Reporter Comp (Heathmont, I think?).
If true, I for one think it's a great shame. I can't think of too many people who have given as much of themselves to Montrose CC. Over 20 years as a player, Junior coach, Junior Co-ordinater, General Commitee Member, 3's Captain, 4's Captain.
We can all tell great stories about Knackers and his flip outs. But lets not forget all the great things that Daniel Crawley gave to Montrose CC as well.
Thanks Daniel, and good luck with any future ventures. Remember you'll always be welcome home to Montrose.

Thanks for your kind words guys, yes its true I have moved my cricket to heathmont to play in the eastern c a. I know by now that most of you that know me well enough would know that this was not a decision that was easy but it was one that had to be made. I leave montrose with many friends and good memories but it is my time to move on, I thank the people who have supported me over the years. I guess my reason in a nutshell is that I have given all i can give to Montrose and need a new challenge and a fresh start. I will hopefully keep in contact with you guys and wish the club and all of you the best for the future.
